Latest Information re: Gathering In-Person
Jamie Hart   -

As many of you heard, this past Sunday, July 5, we made the difficult decision to postpone our plans for gathering in-person for Sunday worship services.

Originally we were scheduled to begin offering in-person services on July 19. But in light of the recent surge of cases in Florida overall, and Central Florida specifically, the elders and staff deemed it best to delay our plans.

We are certainly disappointed about this reality, but your safety and the safety of our community has been and will continue to be a top priority. We are grateful for your understanding and would encourage you to continue to engage via our CPWP at Home Livestream in the weeks ahead.

At this point, we have not set a new return date, but we are holding out hope that we will be able to begin gathering in August. We will be monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to make decisions that prioritize safety to the best of our ability.

Please know that we long to see you all in-person. What a glorious day it will be when we can raise our voices together, in the same place, in worship of our King. And what a glimpse that will be of the ultimate day that is coming, when Jesus splits the sky and returns to dwell with us. Then our mourning will forever be turned into dancing. Until that day, let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)

On behalf of the elders and staff,

Pastor Jamie
