Connect Through Serving
Have you ever felt the intimidation of being in a new place and seeking to connect with new people? One of the fastest ways to get connected and meet new people is to serve alongside one another as we seek to serve the needs of the church. Every Sunday the church comes into the building to have a time of worship, teaching and community and this environment needs to be created. Our desire is to have all people who partner with or call Crosspointe Winter Park home serve on either the Crosspointe Kids or Set-up/Tear-down team.
Ways to Serve:
Connections Team: Like people? The purpose of the Connections Team is to create a welcoming and informative environment for those coming to Crosspointe Church through greeting people, answering questions, and pointing them in the right direction. The Connections Environment is a great first step to connect with people and connect others into the community of Crosspointe and ultimately to Jesus.
Crosspointe Kids: Like children? Each week we have a specific environment designed to point our children to Jesus. We desire to show Christ’s love to our children through: teaching, community and worship. Age specific curriculum, time to connect with other kids and the opportunity to be shaped by the body of Christ provide a dynamic time for both the children and those serving. This crucial area of Crosspointe is foundational to serving our community and pointing them to Jesus.
Set-Up and Tear Down: Like church? Crosspointe Winter Park is a mobile church which requires setting up and tearing down the worship environment every week. A dedicated team of individuals is needed to set-up an environment that allows the community to see, hear and feel the love of Jesus. There is both a satisfaction in seeing the worship environment come together each week as well an opportunity to work side by side as you grow in community with others.
